A combination of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (U.B.C.) and a Master of Business Administration (U.B.C.) has given me the academic background to achieve results in real estate sales. For the year of 1987, I placed #2 in Macdonald Realty for volume and #1 for listings. In terms of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, with its 1,365 members on the Westside, I placed #8 in unit sales, based on over $4,000,000 worth of sales. For the year 1988, I had the second highest sales and the highest number of listings out of the 60 salespeople at Macdonald Realty. Similar results also occurred in 1989. For the year of 1991, I earned the distinction of being the #1 salesman out of the 70 salespeople at our firm. In 1992 I received a special honorary plaque from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver for being a member of the “Medallion Club” for five consecutive years of special distinction sales. In 1993 I was the #1 salesman at Macdonald Realty in terms of volume, and #2 for unit sales. For 1994, I was the #1 salesman at Macdonald Realty (out of 280 salespeople) in sales (over $10,000,000). For 1995, I was again the #1 salesperson at Macdonald Realty and was #15 out of 10,000 realtors in Greater Vancouver. In addition I was inducted into the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s “Presidents Club”. This award is given to those realtors in the top 1% of the industry.
In 1996 and 1997 I was again the top salesperson at Macdonald Realty and was inducted for the third year into the previously described Presidents Club. In 1998 I remained the top salesperson at Macdonald Realty and was inducted into the Presidents Club for a fourth year. This status continued in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
In 2002, I set a personal record with the sale of 110 homes, which placed me #1 at Macdonald Realty and qualified me for the seventh year in the President Club. In addition, for 15 years, I have been a “Master Member” of the Real Estate Board Medallion Club.
On February 20, 2008, Brian Naphtali, President of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, presented Lorne Goldman the rare Life Membership award. This designation is presented to those salespeople who for 20 consecutive years achieved Medallion Club Status (top 10% of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s 9600 members). In the history of the Real Estate Board from 1919, only 85 people have achieved this statistically verified level of success.
