Location and Transportation

Dunbar is one of the most family friendly neighbourhoods in the city limits. Many of the small businesses in the area have had roots in Dunbar for decades. The community is strong, with its own Parental Advisory Community as well as a free community patrol program designed to help keep the neighbourhood safe and secure.

Community Services

This community-centric neighbourhood features its own Community Centre, Library, three off-leash dog parks, and access to Pacific Spirit Park where off leash dog walking is available on its many trails. Residents are also serviced by the nearby Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, a community facility that seeks to “cultivate a sense of belonging and connection to the community for residents of Vancouver’s West Side.”
