Langara is an independent public college in the neighbourhood, which provides services to 21,000 students every year. The college is career focused and has one of the top ranked theatre schools in Canada. The grounds feature a public golf course and walking path.
The Canada Line station at 49th and Cambie sits in the centre of the neighbourhood and connects residents to downtown Vancouver, the airport, and Richmond within minutes.
Oakridge Centre is one of Vancouver’s largest shopping malls, with over 150 stores including a grocery store, a public library, and a senior’s centre. The City of Vancouver is considering an expansion of the space to add additional retail, commercial, and residential spaces.
