About Fairview

When it comes to diversity of atmosphere and energy, Fairview is king. This urban neighbourhood is home to a delicious mix of upscale boutiques, homey restaurants, quiet, family-friendly streets, and saucy cocktail bars. The homes and buildings are an eclectic mix of old and new, with many of our cities character buildings nestled alongside newer, more modern condominiums and townhomes. This area attracts a lot of young homeowners and renters. Approximately 43% of its residents are between the ages of 20-39.

With downtown Vancouver’s busting energy just a stones-throw across the bridge, Kitsilano’s beaches a short bike ride, and all of our city’s public transportation at your fingertips, living in Fairview means having everything that makes Vancouver great in your very own backyard.

Many condominiums and apartment buildings have stunning mountain and city views. Transportation access is paramount here and residents are spoiled in terms of bus, bike, and skytrain accessibility. Neighbourhood Highlights

South Granville Business District

Located along Granville Street, The South Granville Business District is a mix of upscale boutiques, homey restaurants, quirky cafes, and eclectic art galleries. Residents can take in a show at The Stanley Theatre, one of Vancouver’s premiere theatres, or a live jazz show at Ouisi, a down-home Louisiana-style eatery. The Cambie Corridor

The newly developed Cambie Corridor lies along Fairview’s eastern border and was recently revitalized to compliment the newly developed Canada Line Skytrain. The skytrain connects residents to our downtown core, South Vancouver, Richmond, and the Vancouver International Airport. The Cambie Corridor is home to useful stores: Home Depot, Winners, Whole Foods, Canadian Tire, Save On Foods ” there’s nowhere in urban Vancouver with more convenient shopping options and transportation access.

Charleson Park

One of Fairview’s best kept secrets, Charleson Park is beautiful seaside park that is home to several water features and a beloved leash-off area for our favourite canine friends. It best serves residents who live along its southern border, (between West Broadway and Sixth Avenue) with an access bridge at Laurel Street.
